i've often heard it said (and said it myself) that women are in grater numbers in social justice advocacy than men.
i'm looking for statistics about women's involvement in NGOs like environment and other social justice advocacy groups. it can be area/country specific or a global estimate. i'm not particular.
can anyone point me the right direction?
