Dear All, Greetings from South Carolina!
A graduate assistantship (Ph.D.) is available at Clemson University Department of Forestry and Environmental Conservation. The incoming graduate student will use an Integrated Assessment Model (IAM) to ascertain the impact of climate-smart and nature-positive agriculture and forestry practices in the United States on national and global levels. IAMs are simplified representations of complex physical and social systems, focusing on the interaction between the economy, society, and the environment. There is flexibility in using any existing IAM model, but prior experience with the Global Change Analysis Model is preferred. The incoming student is expected to present his/her findings at major conferences and publish them in reputable journals. The incoming student is expected to graduate within five years from the start date (summer/fall of 2025, flexible). More details are at https://bit.ly/IAM-Position. I would appreciate it if you could share the announcement with potential students or a suitable listserv. Wishing you a Happy New Year in advance.
