NCSE Conference - Opportunities for Participation=20
The National Council for Science and the Environment (NCSE) invites you =
to participate in the 6th National Conference on Science, Policy, and =
the Environment: Energy for a Sustainable and Secure Future, which will =
be held January 26 - 27, 2006 at the Ronald Reagan Building and =
International Trade Center in Washington, DC. This event reaches a =
unique audience of over 800 influential people including academia (deans =
and faculty), high-level federal officials, corporate EHS leaders, =
decisionmakers, civil society leaders, and the media.
Opportunities to participate include sponsorship, hosting an exhibition =
booth, and presenting at the conference poster session.=20
Sponsorship benefits include:

Exhibition
The exhibition is an outstanding opportunity for research institutes, =
corporations, government agencies, publishers, NGOs and others to =
exhibit their technologies, services, products and programs. Past =
exhibitors include ESRI, NOAA, NASA, the Department of Defense, Island =
Press, EarthVoice/Humane, and Colorado State's USDA UV-B Monitoring and =
Research Program.
The fee for exhibit space (8' x 10' booth) is $1100. A reduced rate of =
$800 is available for NCSE University Affiliates. The fee includes 1 =
complimentary conference registration. Additional representatives who =
wish to attend the conference may pay the reduced conference =
registration fee of $200. =20
Poster Session
Conference participants are invited to submit abstracts to participate =
in a poster session. Posters will be displayed in an area adjacent to =
the amphitheater foyer. The session will enable participants to share =
research, programs and initiatives related to major themes of the =
conference, including: =20

- Opportunities from Science & Technology =20
- Building Collaborations for Progress =20
- Integrating Climate Change into Energy Planning
The fee for presenting a poster is $50. The fee is waived for current =
members of NCSE's University Affiliates Program. Posters will be =
displayed January 26 from 8 am- 5:30 pm and January 27 from 8 am - 1 pm. =
At least one co-author of each poster must be registered for the =
conference. =20
