At the Center for the Advancement of the Steady State Economy, we are in the process of revising our Steady State Bibliography (http://steadystate.org/Publications.html. We invite all suggestions of publications on the following topics:
Steady state economics or the steady state economy Relationship of economic growth to any facet of environmental protection Critical assessments of the relationship between economic growth and national security, economic sustainability, and international stability. Ecologically economic growth theory Critiques of conventional or Marxist economic growth theory Critical histories of economic growth Political economy of economic policy-making Political economy of environmental protection Environmental Kuznets Curve Policy tools for establishing a steady state economy Please provide full citations. If you are aware of links on the internet to your suggested publications, please include the urls. If you have your suggested publications in pdf format, please include the attachments. This is not a bibliography for any and all material related to ecological economics or sustainable development. For example, we will not be including a comprehensive list of articles pertaining to the valuation of natural capital and ecological services (most of which are better classified as ecological microeconomics). Nor will we be including a lot of material on equity issues. However, we do have some of the classics in both fields listed and will consider suggestions for bellwether articles. We will also not be including articles about generalized economic development or "sustainable development" unless they include substantial components pertaining to economic growth per se (increasing production and consumption of goods and services) or other subjects in the list provided above. Please send your suggestions directly to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thank you in advance for your suggestions.
