I am looking for unpublished or otherwise hard to locate studies that have looked at the effects of grazing (cattle or elk) on riparian systems and corridors in the Midwest. I am particularly interested in studies that addressed the plant community response (diversity, composition, or structure), effects on soils, water quality, or other aquatic organisms (fish, inverts etc.). Although I am most interested in Midwestern studies, I would be interested to know of others in the U.S. that addressed similar issues.
If you are aware of any pertinent studies, I would appreciate hearing about them. Thanks. Kim Suedkamp Wells, Ph.D. Resource Scientist Agricultural Systems Field Station Missouri Department of Conservation 1110 S. College Avenue Columbia, MO 65201 (573) 882 9909 ext. 3292 [EMAIL PROTECTED]
