I am looking to purchase some 2-way radios to use in a relatively flat system, but heavily wooded. People will generally be within a couple of miles of one another. It is extremely difficult to find any information on how the various brands preform, especially for forest-oriented field work. I would appreciate any insight, positive or negative, on this purchase.
