I am working on the experimental design of a project with wild squash
(Cucurbita pepo subspecies ovifera var. ozarkana and Cucurbita pepo
subspecies ovifera var. texana). I would like to know in which
locations near the Mississippi river I could find these populations,
and if anyone has an estimate of how many individuals/pop one may
expect to find. References to scientific papers, herbariums are also
welcomed.
