Summer Positions Open For Student Temporary Employment with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service
Position Description Survey for wildlife species such a California spotted owls and northern goshawks. Surveys will involve working long days and nights (10-12 hours per day). Students must be in good physical condition as surveys will involve hiking in steep, uneven, remote terrain. Position Locations: Eldorado National Forest - Placerville and Amador Ranger Districts. Time Period: Mid-May/June to Mid-August/Sept. Requirements: Full-time Student Pay: GS 3/4 ($11.33-$14.23 per hr.) Salary varies depending on experience and education.
