Graduate Assistantship - Forest Fire Ecology Multidisciplinary project funded by the National Science Foundation to study the forest ecosystem response to various disturbances. The project is carried out in the north Alabama - south Tennessee area, but mainly on the Bankhead National Forest.
The graduate student will join a team of scientists and other graduate students from Alabama A&M University and researchers from the USDA Forest Service to study the fire impact on the vegetative community. Desired background and/or interest in plant ecology. The annual salary is $25,000 for PhD and $20,000 for MSc.
