An Environmental Education Internship is available at Archbold Biological Station. The Environmental Education Intern will assist in running a 4th grade outdoor environmental education program in the threatened Florida scrub habitat. This program allows the intern to escape from the classroom setting and participate in a wide variety of hands-on environmental education activities. As part of their compulsory independent project, the intern will have an opportunity to develop new educational activities that take advantage of the biological research and specialized knowledge at Archbold Biological Station. The intership period is Sept 18th-Dec 20th 2006, and the deadline for application is Aug 1st.
