Dear Ecologers, I am writing in the hopes that some of the ecologers can help us obtain = seed from a number of species in the Evening Primrose family = (Onagraceae). In collaboration with Mark Rausher (Duke University) and = Warren Wagner (Smithsonian Institute), we are trying to understand how = variation in plant sexual systems affect the molecular and phenotypic = evolution of plant defenses in the Onagraceae. We are taking a = comparative approach in this project and are currently trying to collect = seed from various Calylophus spp., Gaura spp., Gayophytum spp., and = Oenothera spp. distributed across North America and South America. If = you would be willing to help us obtain seed for any of the species = listed below, please do not hesitate to send me an email (or call). =20
Thank you very much!
