Funding is available immediately for 2 graduate positions to study factors
that influence the publication process in ecology including status, gender,
& citation attributes.

Study start date: September 2006.

Students would be supervised by Dr. Christopher Lortie at York University in
Toronto, Canada but participate in the international working group composed
of 6-8 individuals including other professors, students, and postdocs.  

The graduate students will also visit NCEAS in Santa Barbara and potentially
visit the other working group member labs in the UK and Canada.

Only Canadian citizens are eligible for the funding on these projects.
