M.S. and Ph.D. graduate positions in Invasive Plant Physiological Ecology are available for fall 2007, with one position open for spring 2007, in the Everglades Ecology Laboratory at Florida Atlantic University. Non-native plant species account for one third of the total plant species found in Florida; making the peninsula home to one of the greatest concentrations of exotic plant species in the world. Successful applicants will join an enthusiastic group of graduate students, technicians and post docs working on the physiological ecology of several exotic plant species that are invading the uplands and wetlands of the Florida Everglades. Interested students should contact Dr. John Volin ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) before applying.
