I cannot believe how quickly everyone has been to respond! Although I have been somewhat discouraged, hearing your responses, especially from my college professors, has been uplifting and I deeply appreciate everyone taking time to respond. I know GIS is a must and taking the GRE is my next step. I also realize that I do need to try to specialize in one area, and I guess that is more of a push to obtain a M/S. I have been looking at Masters programs with the University of Maine and the University of New Hampshire And I will definately take the time to look at the resources that all of you have presented me. I started volunteering with NH Fish & Game last year, but due to school and moving around I was not that great of help but I definately am going to seek volunteer opportunities around this area. Interesting comment about using my last name as a way of presenting my self as a hispanic minority.
