Dear all,

The Neotropical Center for Wetlands Training (CNEH) was born in Costa Rica.
This organization was created to support wetland management and conservatio=
n
in Latin America and the Caribbean. CNEH has conducted more than 40 trainin=
g
events for approximately 2000 people. It has produced and distributed
documents and educational material to support the conservation actions by
community leaders, students, and non-governmental and governmental
organizations in Latin America and the Caribbean. In addition, CNEH has
participated in numerous conservation initiatives and in the creation of
several graduate programs, and has helped with local environmental
management.

In 2006, in celebration of its first decade, CNEH presented a new chapter i=
n
Peru. CNEH-Per=FA promotes wetland management and conservation at a local
level in this country with a great variety of Amazonian, Andean and coastal
wetlands.

To achieve our training objectives we are creating an ecotoxicology
laboratory to train students in the field, the lab and to carry out the
research projects' analysis.

We would be very grateful if any of you can help us to identify
organizations that donate lab and field equipment to ngos in Latin America.

Thanks for you advice
Florencia
