I have an interest in developing an international student exchange program for students in my universities biotechnology program. I have explored some of the classic exchange programs, but these programs generally lack any sort of science. I appeal to this discussion group for its global perspective of the sciences.
In a perfect world my university would send some students to a university abroad, and that university would send some of its students here. Courses would apply to their programs of study --- and would include courses such as biochemistry, cell and molecular biology, microbiology, as well as a course or two that provide an enhancement of cultural awareness. I envision these as 3rd year students. Unfortunately, courses would be English only for all students involved. Ok so now that I laid out this romantic vision of a scientific international program, who might be interested in seeing this dream come to fruition? Charles R.
