We are working on methods to map Ventenata dubia using remote sensing in
the Blue Mts. of NE Oregon. While gathering info about the distribution of
this annual grass, I came across a map on the USU Webmanual for Grasses
which shows that collections have been made throughout N US and S Canada.
I would like to hear from people outside of the interior NW :
Is Ventenata is a weed in your region, or merely present?
If a weed, what kinds of areas does it invade?
Also, does anyone know of publications on V. dubia?
