Dear Ecolog-L list members:

This past fall and early winter in Rhode Island, colleagues and I noticed
more than usual numbers of assassin bugs (Reduviidae) coming inside. This
reminded me of the annual behavior exhibited by ladybird beetles. Is anyone
able to comment on this observation? Are there introduced Reduviidae taxa in
the Northeast? I apologize for the lack of species details.

Thank you,

Scott
