The curriculum will revolve around basic geology, hydrology, paleoecology, ecology, soils, geomorphology, limnology, and impacts of western landuse and resource management. We never stay in a hotel and we prepare and cook all of our food fresh in a communal kitchen. This is also a PHYSICALLY CHALLENGING camp. We do a lot of hiking during the mapping projects. The venue provides excellent and numerous recreational opportunities including fishing, local rodeos, and wilderness backpacking. Evenings and days off include visits to towns such as Wall Drug, SD, Jackson and Pinedale, WY, and Mackay, ID.
