Summer Technician positions: INSECT SURVEYS
Technicians will work in pairs doing time-constrained visual surveys
of arthropods on cottonwood trees in Ogden Utah. Applicants must be
comfortable surveying from 16' orchard ladders, have experience with
arthropod identification, and be meticulous data
collectors. Training with a reference collection will be
provided. Group housing in Ogden provided, applicant should have
reliable personal transportation. Additional duties include data
entry, specimen mounting, insecticide application, tree
watering. Pays $11/hour; season late May through July, possibly into
August. EOE.
