Essential Functions Assist in laboratory experiments, insect husbandry, rearing of phorid flies, and maintaining fire ant colonies. Assist in field surveys and collection of ants in Texas. Assist in general lab maintenance and cleaning. Marginal/incidental Functions Other related functions as assigned. Working Conditions Exposure to all weather conditions. Exposure to standard office conditions. Exposure to chemicals. Exposure to electrical and mechanical hazards. Use of manual dexterity. Climbing of stairs. Lifting and moving.
