Pika/global warming project fieldwork - volunteer - Glacier National Park, 
Montana - June 10 - August 25.

Field assistant needed for study in Glacier NP, Montana, June 10 - August 25; 
or a period of time therein.  The study involves locating pika (small 
lagomorph) while hiking at high altitudes, backcountry camping, working with a 
GPS receiver, identification of plants and possibly other mammals.  Applicants 
should have experience with extended backpacking excursions, be in good 
physical shape, and experience with some ecological field work is a plus.  
Expect early mornings, unpredictable weather, wild animals, and gorgeous 
scenery.  The assistant will work with the project leader (Lucas Moyer-Horner,
