Me too! O' course, it's deja vu all over again when it comes to information overload, duplication, overlap, and waiting for some messiah to gallop up on a white horse with a solid grip on the Holy Grail for all of us. Yeah! I'm wating (?).
It's only a start, and a tiny one at that, but is there any interest in trying to pick subjects for the subject line that make some attempt to organize emails beginning with the most general category descriptive of the contents followed by subcategories in descending order? For example, I have attempted this on the subject line of this message, taking care, of course, to retain the original "Re:." I invite others to improve or supplant this suggestion. As for me, this crude method allows me to click on the subject column and arrange an entire thread. Vestigial though it may be, I's sure others can thing of other techniques that can lower the burden and cohere the material. WT At 08:20 PM 4/1/2007, Warren W.
