I will be graduating this spring from Skidmore College with a =
bachelor=92s degree in biology and a minor in French. I am very =
interested in all aspects of ecology, particularly mammalian studies, =
and I feel that I could be a great addition to any team. At Skidmore I =
was the only biology major of the class of 2007 to follow the ecology, =
evolution, and animal behavior concentration. I am currently working =
under Dr. Roy Meyers on a project involving setting up respiration =
chambers to monitor the feeding and rest metabolism of several insect =
species and air breathing fish. However, as graduation grows closer, I =
feel that I would like to take the information and skills I=92ve gained =
over the past four years and move towards fieldwork or wildlife =
management.=20
I have some field experience that I acquired throughout my course work =
at Skidmore, as well as several studies and collections on fish species =
in southern Missouri streams for St. Louis University. During the =
summer of 2006 I interned at St. Louis University under Dr. Robert Wood, =
professor of biology and ichthyology, where I helped contribute to the =
Cypriniform Tree of Life (CTOL) project and performed genetics work for =
conservation of the pallid sturgeon. I am an organized person, a =
self-motivated worker, and I enjoy working as a team. I have a resum=E9 =
ready to send, as needed. Please feel free to contact me at the above =
e-mail address or at 314.609.7214. Thank you for your consideration.=20

Sincerely,
Joseph B. Anderson
