Each workshop is a total immersion 2-day workshop titled: INTRODUCTION TO 
ARC-GIS I.  These workshops focus on ArcGis 9.x.  Each workshop is limited to a 
maximum of 10 participants, but makes with 6 to insure quality instruction and 
lots of personal attention!

These courses generally fill quickly, so if you are interested, please reserve 
your place as soon as possible.  You may secure your reservation prior to 
payment, but arrangements for payment must be made by the time the session 
begins.

SCOPE OF COURSE:  This two-day course introduces students to ArcGIS and 
provides the foundation for becoming a successful ArcView, ArcEditor, or 
ArcInfo user. Participants learn how to use ArcMap, ArcCatalog, and ArcToolbox 
and explore how these applications work together to provide a complete GIS 
software solution. The course covers fundamental GIS concepts as well as how to 
create, edit, and work with georeferenced spatial data. Attendees learn how to 
manipulate tabular data, query a GIS database, and present data clearly and 
efficiently using maps and charts.

This is also the entry level course that satisfies partial requirements for 
ESRI Learning Pathways
