Sabbatical Replacement Position in Ecology and Evolution at =20 Willamette University Willamette University announces a one-year opening for an A.B.D. or =20 Ph.D. to teach a lecture and two laboratory courses in Evolution =20 Ecology and Biodiversity (BIOL 125) and a Special Topic in Biology =20 (BIOL 470) in Fall 2007. BIOL 470=92s small seminar format permits a =20 timely focus on any newly emerging and/or significant area relevant =20 to biology. The Spring 2008 course load would repeat the BIO 125 =20 responsibilities and include Evolution (BIOL 376). This appointment =20 is a full-time, sabbatical replacement position beginning late August =20= 2007. Willamette University, located in Salem, Oregon, is a liberal arts =20 institution that values excellence in teaching and scholarship. Salem =20= is the state capitol of Oregon, and is located within about one hour =20 of the Pacific coast, the Cascade mountains, and the metropolitan =20 areas of Portland, Corvallis, and Eugene.
