The research will involve the microbes ecology. The focus of this study is to quantify and examine the activity of microbes on the decomposition of litters.
The ideal candidate will have a recent Ph.D. (graduated on or after 2004) in microbiology, microbiologcal ecology and related sciences. Solid training in chemical analysis and microbes indentification is preferred. The ability to work independently as well as in a team is expected. Applicants of English speakers are welcome. The appointment is contingent upon evidence of completion of a Ph.D. The annual salary is 30,000 Chinese Yuan. Postdoctoral scholar positions are awarded for a two-year period and work chance in Nanjing University is also possible. A dormitory with two rooms and one kitchen is provided. Financial support for research is10,000-50,000 Chinese yuan. The candidate coud be working both in China and USA,but at least a month per year in China.
