Summer Field Technician We are seeking a person to assist our field crew with surveying and transect establishment at Grand Bay, Mississippi from July 15 August 15, 2007. Lodging is provided in the dormitory facilities of the Grand Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve. Transportation will be provided to and from the site; alternatively, mileage will be reimbursed if the applicant chooses to use a personal vehicle. Hours are 40/week, and pay is $10/hour. Preference will be given to applicants with field experience in the life sciences. Field work is demanding; applicants should be capable of hiking and carrying a field pack with gear in hot, humid conditions.
