Hello all,
I have a quick query regarding GPS tracking devices.

As part of a large eco-epidemiological study we will be tracking individual
subjects with GPS for a month (per person). Hence, we need GPS devices that
are wearable, durable (survive the tropics), and can go 3 days at least on a
charge. We also want to get a lot, so cost is a concern.

I and my colleagues have spent quite a lot of time scouring the web for
devices, but most either are too large or don't have adequate battery life.
Moreover, commercial products are 'bloated' with software and buttons and so
forth that we don't need nor want -- the simpler the better.

Does any one have some good references or insights about this?

Thanks in advance.
