A paid botany internship position is available for a recent graduate
with a biology related major.

Compensation is $750 per two week pay period.

The internship is 5 months in length. The selected intern would be
expected to start ASAP (a specific date is negotiable).

Opportunities also exist to continue work overseas (Australia and/or
UK). In addition, a Masters program in Plant Biology and Conservation
with Northwestern University is also available for suitably qualified
post internship candidates.

Location: Wyoming BLM State Office, Cheyenne, Wyoming

Job Description: Data and other information from a variety of botany
related projects needs to be analyzed and interpreted. Primary
activities of the intern would involve the collation of data and text
into mapping and statistical analysis software, data analysis and
interpretation and presentation of results via reports and/or papers. A
field component would be minor but may involve helping BLM botanists, in
various locations in Wyoming, with collection of field data on high
priority projects.
