Dear Ecologgers: Sorry for posting again.
I am a graduate student major in ecology in Zhejiang University in China. My direction for my Master's Degree is studying the response of plants in global climate changing. We conducted controlled experiment, changed the four environmental factors simulating the global climate change, and measured leaf photosynthesis rates and leaf dark respiration rates in 30 species located in semitropics. While recognizing that 30 species cannot adequately represent the entire biosphere, it is interesting as heuristic exercise to observe that terrestrial vegetation carbon sequestration. I wonder if anybody out there knows programs foucused on a similar interest will take another Ph.D student next fall 2008. Looking forawrd to your help. Again, thank you for your attention. Best Wishes, Sincerely Jessica Chu
