We are looking for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources at the University of Idaho to conduct research on a Department of Defense-funded project seeking to develop models and tools for managing endangered species on DoD installations. We will be looking for a quantitative population ecologist to join a team of investigators in developing and applying new and innovative methods for analyzing the effects of human disturbance and management on population viability of threatened and endangered species. The candidate will assist with developing tools to facilitate efforts by biologists and managers to estimate key parameters, evaluate consequences of management alternatives and determine population viability.

Additional Skills: Experience programming in Visual Basic and using R statistical software would be optimal but is not required.
