Ecologist/Environmental Science Program Coordinator, Georgia College & State University
The Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences at Georgia College & State University invites applications for an Ecologist/Environmental Science Program Coordinator. We seek a broadly trained individual that is committed to liberal arts education and can demonstrate excellence in teaching and research. This is a tenure-track position and will be hired at the assistant or associate professor level. A Ph.D. in ecology, environmental science, or related field is required. Teaching duties may include introductory biology and environmental science, ecology, and upper level courses in the candidate's field of expertise. In addition to teaching, the candidate will be expected to develop a research program to include undergraduate and graduate (M.S.) students. The candidate will also be responsible for administrating the environmental science major which will include duties such as advising, curriculum development and assessment, and program review.
