Associate/Full Professor of Limnology
The Empire Innovation Professor of Environmental Science and Biology = will be expected to fulfill the goals and expectations of the SUNY = Empire Innovation Program to "help SUNY compete for research grants, = generate additional revenue through the growth of patents and indirect = recoveries and contribute to the economic growth of surrounding = communities and the State". Strong research record with peer-reviewed = publications and a history of external funding in limnology or related = field. Reduced teaching responsibilities (9 contact hours per year) on = some aspect of biological, chemical or physical limnology is balanced = with an expectation of an active externally-funded research program in = an area of large lake limnology. Experience developing, coordinating and = leading collaborative multi-disciplinary, multi-faculty, and = multi-institutional research is highly desirable. Required: Ph.D. in = limnology or related field, demonstrated scholarly productivity, and = ability to work in a culturally diverse environment.
