Functional Organismal Biology of Fishes, Reptiles or Amphibians

The Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology solicits applications 
for a tenure-track Assistant Professor, university-year appointment, in 
functional organismal biology of ectothermic vertebrates.  We seek 
outstanding individuals whose research involves innovative approaches to 
studying ectotherm form and function in an evolutionary and/or ecological 
context, including such fields as evolutionary physiology, physiological 
ecology, evolutionary or functional morphology, and/or biomechanics.  The 
successful candidate will have complete access to the outstanding 
collections of the University of Michigan Museum of Zoology and, as 
appropriate and desired, could have an affiliation with the Museum.  
Teaching responsibilities may include courses in physiology or anatomy and 
areas of specialized research interest.  For further information, see
