Ecology 569: A small (<10 students) graduate seminar for Ecology graduate
students (others by permission of instructor) intended to provide an in-depth,
interdisciplinary exploration of a specific topic or research project in
ecology. The topic or project will be chosen by the instructor in consultation
with the students, prior to the course. The course will emphasize the in-depth
review, analysis and synthesis of original literature and other information,
resulting in an appropriate end-product (e.g. collective review paper, report,
or presentation in the Ecology weekly seminar). One goal of the course is to
provide experience in working collectively in an interdisciplinary setting.
