Just wanted to let you all know that thanks to two positive responses concerning the Omano 2300/V6 7x-45x stereo zoom boom microscope, I went ahead and purchased it. I am happy with the scope thus far, with the only negative comment that the stand isn't QUITE as sturdy as I might prefer (it seems to shake slightly if I'm not very careful). Possibly a different boom stand would have been better. But overall, for the money, I am very happy with it.
