Portland-Vancouver metro area?

Join Northwest Service Academy and lead the Clark County Watershed 
Restoration Team!  This team consists of six AmeriCorps members who will 
be implementing large-scale restoration projects along the East Fork of 
the Lewis River, and working with local volunteers and service groups 
within natural areas of our local park properties.

As the Team Leader, you will develop, participate in, and motivate a 
diverse, hardworking team while promoting a sense of community, 
collaboration and cohesion among team members.  The Team Leader will 
ensure team safety and productivity, support the professional and 
individual development of team members, and assist with developing and 
evaluating the program.  

We are seeking a Team Leader who is an independent, self motivated, 
cooperative, flexible team player with a strong work ethic.  You must also 
have the ability to provide technical guidance to team members on 
individual conservation/restoration projects.

Position starts January 14, 2008.  Benefits include a monthly stipend of 
$1,309 (before taxes), health insurance, a $4,725 AmeriCorps education 
scholarship, loan forbearance, childcare allowance and many training 
opportunities.
