POST-DOCTORAL POSITION AQUATIC ECOLOGY, EVOLUTION, BEHAVIOR, OR ECOTOXICOLOGY
Applications are invited for a post-doctoral position at the University of Pittsburgh in any area of aquatic ecology or evolution under the direction of Dr. Rick Relyea. Current areas of research in the Relyea Lab include inducible defenses (and other forms of phenotypic plasticity), predator-prey communication, animal mating systems, disease ecology, and community ecotoxicology in aquatic communities. Interested applicants should propose potential research ideas that either build upon our existing work or add interesting new dimensions to areas currently being pursued. The post-doc will reside on the main campus in Pittsburgh from September to March each year and reside at the University's biological field station from April to August (www.pitt.edu/~biology/pymatuning.htm ).
