Hi Lela, Another option, though more expensive, might be the Olympus Stylus 720 SW or 790SW ($239-299 depending on retailer). It is waterproof (10ft), shockproof (5ft), and dustproof. It is digital, which would save you some money on printing. (Online print shops like Winkflash are just $0.06/print if you do want to print them.) It also has a 3x optical zoom which could be useful depending on what kind of work you are doing. Of course it also works as a great regular camera at 7.1megs and has video too.
