Several people have replied to my query by referring to the Northeast Natural History Conference in Albany, 17-18 Apr. 2008. That's not the meeting to which I was referring.
The Northeast Ecology and Evolution Conference, a meeting geared especially toward graduate students in the region (like the very successful Midwest version that has been running for a long time), evidently was last held at Penn State in 2006. Given the variety of smallish meetings held in spring (usually April) in the northeast and mid-Atlantic region each year (others besides the ones mentioned above include Mid-Atlantic ESA; Lehigh Valley Ecology & Evolution; Delaware Valley Chapter of SCB), perhaps some consolidation or coordination would be beneficial?
