HUXLEY FELLOW in ECOLOGY: The Ecology and Evolutionary Biology department
of Rice University (http://eeb.rice.edu) anticipates hiring a recent Ph.D.
for a Huxley position in ECOLOGY, for a two year appointment with a third
year extension possible, to start upon applicant availability within one
year. The Huxley Fellow Program aims to recruit outstanding postdoctoral
researchers who merge excellence in teaching (25%) and research (75%).
Huxley Fellows receive faculty status, employee benefits, a very
competitive salary, and a modest research fund for independent or
collaborative research. The Fellow is anticipated to teach one upper-
level undergraduate course per year, with the remaining time available for
research. Applicants should contract and identify in their application a
faculty sponsor with compatible research interests. Application review
