Hi,
Another good source of jobs/post-docs is Evolution directory -
http://evol.mcmaster.ca/cgi-bin/my_wrap/brian/netevoldir

It is US based, but advertises positions worldwide.

Hi Tania and list members. =20

I also always note the lack of a list server for similar opportunities in t=
he UK and Europe. I've set up an ad hoc one in the past forwarding on mari=
ne jobs to people I know... The best lists to join and website to check out=
(I'm a marine biologist so some of this is bias) are:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.coastms.co.uk - marine and coastal job a=
nd conferences - Bob Earl is brilliant at distributing opportunities...

http://www.marbef.org/ - Maily European Marine and Coastal Jobs and Phd Stu=
dentships

http://www.environmentjobs.co.uk - General Environmental jobs - updated reg=
ularly

http://www.environmentjob.co.uk - Note the one letter difference loads of o=
pportunities here...

www.newscientist.com - this one goes without saying you can select which ar=
ea you want them to send you jobs from

http://www.earthworks-jobs.com - loads here at all levels coering biology a=
nd all earth related subjects

http://www.academicjobseu.com more postdoc/lecturer level

http://www.jobs.ac.uk/ Academic jobs in the UK and abroad...

http://www.omar.fr/content/section/14/72/ - yes its in French but most of t=
he adverts for internships/ phd's and post docs and jobs are in Englishmain=
ly marine

d488474efa2917a&f=3D2&daysprune=3D-1&order=3Ddesc&sort=3Dlastpost
This link will take you to Oceanography/marine biology jobs - worldwide...

http://www.career.edu/ - academic jobs worldwide

http://www.marinebiology.co.uk/index2.htm - loadds of marine biology career=
 links

http://www.findaphd.com - plus findamasters and findapostdoc - mainly UK bu=
t also worldwide...

http://www.edie.net/jobs - more consultancy jobs in a variety of environmen=
tal fields...

I hope that is enough to get you started, if you are more specific with wha=
t you are looking for there are always lots of jobs with SNH, English Natu=
re and CCW , Environment Agency, Marine Conservation Society, Environmental=
Consultantcies and also try Universities with lecturers working on somet=
hing that interests you directly...

Different Unis also have their own lists so check out where you have been, =
are to or going to...

Hope this helps

Jade
