The Biology Department at Canisius College has a two-year Teacher-Scholar Postdoctoral Fellowship starting fall 2008. Originally funded by Howard Hughes Medical Institute, this Fellowship prepares faculty for entry positions at primarily undergraduate institutions. The Fellowship covers salary, supplies, and travel. The Fellow will work with a team of faculty to teach introductory biology, and is expected to be involved in training undergraduate researchers. The Fellow is expected to join an existing research team at the College or at local research institutions we partner with in Buffalo (Hauptman-Woodward, Roswell Park Cancer Institute).
