Job Title: Biology Technician Primary Responsibilities: Assist in a research project on nesting Snowy Plovers. Duties include; supervision of an intern, nest searching and monitoring, brood observations, invertebrate and beach traffic sampling, and data entry
Experience/Qualifications: A bachelors degree in biology/wildlife or related field, a minimum of two seasonal field research jobs in the biological sciences (shorebird work preferred), experience with identification of invertebrates a plus, good data management skills, attention to detail, strong work ethic, ability to cheerfully work/live in hot, humid, and buggy conditions Term: March 20th-July 31st 2008 Salary: $400/week, plus housing and health insurance Closing date: February 22nd 2008 Please send resume, cover letter, and three references to Brad Smith at P.O.
