hydrosci-l: an email list for the hydrologic science community Modeled after the listservs that have become integral components of other science communities, David Kirschtel, the CUAHSI Program Manager, has set up hydrosci-l. Focusing on those doing research on the terrestrial components and processes of the global hydrologic cycle, hydrosci-l is the place to post announcements (about conferences, jobs, meetings, studentships), questions to the research community or otherwise provide for the rapid communication of ideas. In order to keep the "signal-to-noise ratio" high, posting will be reviewed by a moderator before being distributed, only subscribers to the list will be allowed to post to the list and messages will be plain text only.
