Asia Projects Manager The Asia Projects Manager—a new joint post of A Rocha USA and A Rocha International--will work among Asian Christians to raise awareness of environmental decline and the connection of that decline to human suffering, in order to awaken and reinvigorate a faith-based desire to care for the earth. Based in the USA, this position will work with Asian Christian individuals and organizations; Asian-American churches; and Chinese-speaking, Asia-based A Rocha staff. S/he will design and implement strategies of outreach and engagement, fundraise, coordinate events and prepare educational materials. S/he will also contribute to the organizational development of A Rocha USA as a charity and its nature conservation and environmental education activities, particularly those that can be adapted for Asian stakeholders. Candidates will be committed to A Rocha’s values (http://en.arocha.org/about/index5.html), and will possess working knowledge of at least one major Asian languages as well as management or events coordination experience, preferably in a charity or voluntary organization. A Rocha is a Christian nature conservation organization that conducts hands-on community-based conservation and environmental education.
