Summer research internships in biological or cultural research are available at 4 National Parks in the Great Lakes region (one per park), including Apostle Island National Lakeshore, Grand Portage National Monument, Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, and Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Applicant must be a bachelor's, master's, or Ph.D. student at an accredited college or university. Students must submit a report on their research project upon completion of the internship. The research may be used to fulfill university requirements. Funding is up to $3,000 for a 12-16 week period. Housing is provided at individual parks.
