David Kline's "Scratching the Woodchuck" -- nature journaling, looks like an absorbing, relaxing collection of essays from an Amish farm
Thomas Berry "The Great Work: Our Way Into the Future" -- reviews range from singing Berry's praises as "spokesperson for Planet Earth" to being disappointed that the author appears to denigrate every aspect of human existence while offering no substantial alternatives...as though the book is a 200-page monologue of all things anti-human. Might be worth exploring, though, as one view of "deep ecology." Stuart Pimm "The World According to Pimm" -- this one looks to be an interesting companion to "The Skeptical Environmentalist" by Bjorn Lomberg; I will have to borrow it from the library to get my feet wet.
