Dear Ecologgers: is anyone using, or thinking seriously of using ACTIVE RIFD for studies of small vertebrates? We are thinking of using them for frogs; we are in proposal development stage and while this methodology seems promising we are having difficulty finding specific information on how to do this. If anyone has made progress with this and wouldn't mind sharing basic information on their methods, we would greatly appreciate it.
Specifically, over what distances are you able to pick up the signals? Are there particular body size/battery/distance problems? Thanks very much, Rob Baldwin Chris Post Department of Forestry and Natural Resources Clemson University 864-656-4857 [EMAIL PROTECTED]
